Meet the Author

My name is Chris and i am the writer who is responsible for all the content on Indiescreet. I am a 22 year old student who is currently studying for a degree in Web Technology.

I have always liked the thought of blogging about the music I love but never really had the time available to put 100 per cent of my focus into it, that is until now.

My love of all genres of music, especially indie music, has lead me to create this blog. My passion to educate myself and other people is what drives me to keep an up to date interest in the music scene.

What Indiescreet Can Offer

Indiescreet offers all the latest news, reviews, videos, tour dates, release dates with a personal slant.

I started Indiescreet as a way for readers to hear the latest indie music news but to also find out about upcoming and unsigned bands who could be the next big thing. I try to mix the latest breaking news with details about smaller bands and artists, primarily from the UK.

I want Indiescreet to grow with the help of you. Being a small one man blog means I listen to all comments and and reply to any feedback I receive be it comments, emails or tweets.

My aim is to build a friendly community who will share their experiences and knowledge with others by giving their views on topics and conversations which arise.

Over time I will be running guest publications from other blogs and readers and competitions for our regulars to get involved in and win prizes.
