Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner nearly cancelled their forthcoming album after his bag, containing his notepad full of lyrics, was stolen six months ago.
Alex Turner said to NME in this months magazine, “I got my bag robbed six months ago and I lost this notebook. I lost loads, it was all in this brown notebook with a picture of a fox on it. I felt then that there was something coming together but then it went.”
Despite the setback the new album is due out in August 2009. The Queen Of The Stone Age’s frontman Josh Homme has produced the yet untitled album.
