Arctic Monkeys are once again drumming up the hype surrounding their new album ‘Humbug’.
After recently announcing there will be tickets to Reading and Leeds Festivals hidden in some of the vinyl ‘Crying Lightning’ singles on sale in Oxfam, the Sheffield lads have now announced a special one off show taking place in London.

“Arctic Monkeys are pleased to announce that they will be performing a special show at London’s Brixton Academy on Wednesday 26th August 2009.
This will be the band’s first UK show since December 2007 and their first since the release of their 3rd album, ‘Humbug’.
The band shall be joined by very special guests. Tickets are priced £27.50 + booking fee.

Registration period will end at midnight on Wednesday 19th August 2009. Successful applicants will then be notified via email the following day, Thursday 20th August 2009, with details of how to purchase the tickets. There will then be a purchase period until midnight Sunday 23rd August 2009. Any remaining tickets will then go onsale to all other applicants on a first come, first served basis.”
