Welikeit.indie shared the new video from Fuck Buttons with us

“Fuck Buttons burst back into action with the release of their blistering new album, Tarot Sport, in early October. The album will be preceded by the release of a single, “Surf Solar”, on September 14th (both on ATP Recordings) & by a full UK tour with regional dates in September & a headline London show at Heaven in Charing Cross on October 27th.”

Strange Glue gave us a great preview of this weekends Reading & Leeds Festivals

“Standing as one of the biggest Festivals in the UK today, the Reading and Leeds combo has dawned upon us once again.

Filling their bill with some of the biggest names money could buy and selling tickets through their ears is an absolute guarantee when dealing with events this big but what’s more interesting is the smaller, less immediate bands that the big-wigs at the top decide upon.”

We All Want Someone To Shout For featured a new bonus track from Arctic Monkeys

“Arctic Monkeys have given us another great b-side! This time it is the itunes bonus track; “Sketchhead”. It sounds like it could have come off of the FWN b-side sessions. Almost like the big brother to “Nettles“. Really unusual melody/time signature. Turner is rapping a bit more so than singing.”

Crossfire reviewed Them Crooked Vultures Brixton gig where they supported Arctic Monkeys

“You’ve probably heard the rumblings and rumors running riot this week as what is possibly the greatest rock ‘super-group’ of all time plots it’s time to strike in the UK.

The Vultures have already been circling across Europe and America, swooping down to play random festival and club gigs, feeding small snippets of music out online, building the excitement – leaving everyone waiting and wondering just how hard a band comprising of members of Led Zeppelin, Nirvana and Queens Of The Stoneage will rock. The obvious answer is, fucking hard.”

ZME Music shared with us a new track from Islands called ‘Vapours’

“Islands‘ third full length “Vapours” is just a few weeks away from its scheduled release date, and subsequently we’ve been treated with a little appetiser in the form of this free MP3 of the title track.”
