Another week where it seems to be the calm before the storm, with not many releases worth nothing.
Julian Plenti – Julian Plenti Is… Skyscraper
Modest Mouse – No One’s First and You’re Next
MSTRKRFT – Fist Of God
I doubt any of these album will make any impact on the UK charts. That isn’t to say the albums aren’t good, I’ve heard previews of the Julian Plenti (aka Paul Julian Banks, lead singer of Interpol) album and can say it’s pretty good from what I’ve heard.
Of the two releases I featured last week only Reverend & The Makers managed to break into the top 40, at a very respectable number 19.
