Yup that’s right. Indiescreet has now been up and running one whole year. And hopefully it’ll be the first of many.

Unfortunately I haven’t had chance to prepare anything to celebrate but perhaps next week I’ll be able to throw a belated birthday and give you guys something special. Watch this space….

I wrote this post to really say thanks to you, the readers of Indiescreet. Without your support and following I doubt Indiescreet would have ever seen this day. So here’s an internet high five to show my love!

With Indiesceet’s first birthday just around the corner it’s time to step things up with the help of you guys.

Whether you’re an avid reader or a first time visitor if you’ve got a passion for music and a creative flair for putting your thought onto paper (or a computer screen in this case) then Indiescreet could be just what you’re looking for.

Faux have just published their first digital edition featuring Delphic, Esther Rebel, Yeasayer and many more great artists and articles. There’s also a review of Beach House’s new album ‘Teen Dream’ in there from yours truly.

A massive thanks to everyone who has subscribed, bookmarked, followed on Twitter, become a fan on Facebook or just read Indiescreet from time to time.

When I started Indiescreet earlier in the year I never expected to receive such a friendly and loyal readership who not only read what I write but also contribute themselves by emailing me the latest news or leaving great comments. It thanks to you guys that Indiescreet can continue to bring you the latest great artists, bands tracks and albums.

Expect much more in 2010. Expect a wider range of genres to be covered. Expect more guest posts and possibly some new regular writers. Expect more album reviews from well known acts and upcoming bands. Expect new weekly features and articles.

There’s lots in store for Indiescreet in 2010 so be sure to keep an eye out in the near future.

2009 has been a rollercoaster year which started with a flourish of great new albums and ends with a smattering of fantastic new acts to take us into the next decade.
