2009′s Psychic Chasms still sounds as fresh as ever thanks to the crest of the chillwave Neon Indian managed to surf; a wave many have since jumped on.

’6669 (I Don’t Know If You Know)’ now has a rather creepy stopmotion video to accompany it. The video, created by João Machado, shows the becoming of a spider-like creature.

Klaxon’s return is now fully upon us thanks to their first video from Surfing The Void to accompany the single ‘Echoes’.

‘Echoes’ is set for release August 16th while Surfing The Void is due out August 23rd.

There’s something really surreal about this video and something really surreal about Gayngs in general.

Best described as a collective, Gayngs features 23 musicians in all, including Justin Vernon and Mike Noyce of Bon Iver. Their sound, as I recently read, is based entirely upon 10cc’s beautiful ‘I’m Not In Love’.

Taking a listen to ‘The Gaudy Side Of Town’ it’s obvious Gayngs have succeeded in what they set out to achieve, both the track and the acts stage presence have a real 70′s feel about them. I’ve yet to take a listen to debut album ‘Relayted’ but look forward to the opportunity to hear more of the same.

I previewed ‘All Summer’ over on Faux last week, the track released by Converse featuring three amazing artists now has a video to suit.

Remember the big head mode on Goldeneye (and plenty of other games to be fair)? Well Converse have recreated that effect for the video to accompany ‘All Summer’. Although rather uneventful, the video sees the trio hanging out together, presumably ‘all summer’.

The track itself combines the vocals of Bethany from Best Coast and Kid Cudi with the pristine production of Vampire Weekend’s Rostam so elegantly that perhaps these three should start a side project!

Flying Lotus’ music is pretty all over the place, meaning nothing but a pretty all over the place video would be fit for one of the standout tracks from Cosmogramma – ‘MmmHmm’.

The video, which is directed by Special Problems duo Campbell Hooper and Joel Kefali, is surreal in the most drug-induced sense.

Ellie Goulding’s next single from her debut album ‘Lights’ now has an accompanying video and release date.

‘The Writer’ will be available in the UK from August 9th.
