Chew Lips are currently riding the crest of an electro-pop femme fatale wave which is sweeping the music scene. A wave which is carrying the likes of La Roux, Little Boots, Ladyhawke and in the near future possibly many more.

Chew Lips are from London and are pretty new to the scene having only been around a year. The beautifully looking and sounding Tigs is the voice and soul of the band with Will Sanderson and James Watkins providing the tunes via a number of different instruments.

The band have received a lot of press after their first release ‘Solo’ was present on the latest Kitsune Maison Compilation, Volume 7.

The bands latest release, ‘Salt Air’ has slowly but surely been gaining more and more popularity and I believe it’s only a matter of time before Chew Lips are being talked about on the same, if not a higher level than the likes of La Roux and Little Boots.

Chew Lips are playing various festivals this summer including Latitude, Truck Festival, Kendal Calling and Bestival.

‘Salt Air’ is available for download new (see the Amazon link at the bottom of this post) or listen to the track below along with a couple of remixes from Jupiter and Suds & Soda.
