Maximo Park guitarist Duncan Lloyd’s valuable 1079 brown and gold Gretsch Country Gent was stolen last night ahead of the first date on their tour in Newcastle.
The guitar, formerly played by The Clash legendary frontman Joe Strummer, was uplifted from Newcastle Academy yesterday evening (May 13th).
A “significant reward” is being offered by the guys for any details on the whereabouts of the guitar. Any information will also be kept fully confidential.
