There seems to be a lack of good albums out this week (July 20th) here are a couple of diamonds in the rough:
Kid British – It Was This Or Football – First Half
The Duke & The King – Nothing Gold Can Stay
I’m a fan of Kid British but I don’t believe they have the fan base to make a dent on the chart just yet. One for the future I think. I wrote about Kid British’s track ‘Our House Is Dadless’ here.
Last week I predicted The Dead Weather’s debut album ‘Horehound’ would do well in the charts. The LP managed a pretty respectable number fourteen in the charts, the highest new entry.
Hopefully there will be some more high profile releases in the coming weeks, stick with Indiescreet to find out.
