Another week, another set of new album releases. This weeks (June 22nd) brand new releases include,
Regina Spektor – Far
Dinosaur Jr. – Farm
The Mars Volta – Octahedron
White Denim – Fits
Jack Penate – Everything is New
Future of the Left – Travels With Myself and Another
Kasabian are once again at the top of the charts, this being their second week at number one.
New releases from last week did not fair too well in the charts. Enter Shikari, who I thought would have entered higher with new album Common Dreads, faired at a moderate number sixteen. Blur’s comeback compilation Midlife entered the charts at number twenty. These albums may yet move up the charts, stick with Indiescreet and find out next week.
From the releases out today I predict a third week at number one for Kasabian. If anyone is to knock them off the chart it is most likely to be Jack Penate with his sophomore album Everything Is New.
