This cover of Elliott Smith’s ‘Ballad Of Big Nothing’ will feature as a b-side to the single ‘Wild Phoenix’.

‘Wild Phoenix’ has been re-recorded since it was first released on Cymbals Eat Guitars’ debut album ‘Why There Are Mountains’ and will be released March 1st.

The cover of ‘Ballad Of Big Nothing’ doesn’t take much away or add much to the original but is nevertheless a solid cover which is a unexpected treat for any fans Cymbals Eat Guitars and Elliott Smith for that matter.

‘Why There Are Mountains’ is available now, no news as of yet in regards to their sophomore effort.
