Greek legend states that the the halcyon was a kingfisher like bird who brought peace and tranquillity once a year.
Sadly this bird doesn’t exist, but it’s namesake, one of the definite highlights from ‘Acolyte’ has been remixed by L-Vis 1990.
The remix doesn’t immediately strike as being too far from the original, however don’t stop listening. About 1/3 into the track the beat drops and the rehash really kicks in offering up a distorted beat the really beef up the track.
