Vampire Weekend, who were recently featured in Indiescreet’s 10 most anticipated albums of 2010 article, have made their upcoming new album ‘Contra’ available on their MySpace page in it’s entirety.
Head here to preview the album in full before it’s release on January 11th.
I’ve yet to take a listen in full but will be sure to post my views on the much anticipated return of one of the most talked about bands on the planet right now. If you’ve had a listen then be sure to let me know what you think so far and which tracks you’d recommend.
You can pre-order ‘Contra’ via a number of different outlets, some of which are offering exclusive tracks or prizes, they are,
HMV – If you pre-order from HMV in the UK you’re eligible to win a pair of tickets to an exclusive show at the Relentless Garage in London on the 3rd February 2010.
iTunes – ‘Contra’ is now available for pre-order on iTunes for US customers with ‘California English Part 2′ as a pre-order only track and ‘Giant’ as a bonus track.
Independent Record Stores – You can get ‘Contra’ from your local independent record store with an exclusive bonus 3 song CD containing:

Once again FY comes up with the goods, great find!
