Vampire Weekend tonight shared some brand new material on Radio 1 which will be featured on the upcoming Twilight Eclipse Soundtrack.
‘Jonathan Low’ is instantly recognisable thanks to Ezra’s distinctive vocals but perhaps lacks a certain je ne se qua to really give the track an explosive edge. Now I’m not saying the track is bad per se, it’s just that Vampire Weekend have always produce such a high standard of music that I was possibly expecting more from this. What do you guys think?

The Twilight series has always managed to entice some of the biggest alternative names to their soundtracks since the first film back in 2008. Acts lined up for the latest compilation include Muse, The Black Keys, The Dead Weather, Florence And The Machine and a Beck/Bat For Lashes collaboration. The soundtrack will be available from June 8th.
