[Preview] Wavves – King Of The Beach

After Wavves pushed forward the digital release of King Of The Beach it was really only a matter of time before Nathan Williams and his label followed the increasingly growing (and awesome) trend of making the album available to stream for free.

First impressions after a couple of listens are promising, the obvious difference from previous material is the more accessible sound. The lo-fi foundations of previous albums are practically gone, exchanged for a more produced sound which shows off a much larger repertoire of style’s which Williams has picked up over the past year or so.

The general consensus around the web seems to be positive so far, perhaps this album will see Williams talked about more for his music than his brawling skills.

You can stream the album in full now right here, thanks to Fat Possum.

For those of you in the US you can download the album from iTunes right now, it seems the UK release date stays unchanged at August 2nd via Bella Union.
