A mixed bag of new releases for this week (September 21′st) including:
Pearl Jam – ‘Backspacer’
Dizzee Rascal – ‘Tongue N Cheek’
Monsters of Folk – ‘Monsters Of Folk’
Nick Cave and Warren Ellis – ‘White Lunar’
As predicted here last week Muse have managed to hit the top of the charts with their latest album ‘The Resistance’.
How long this will last however is debatable. After managing to keep the likes of Jay Z, Peter Andre and Pixie Lott (quite a spectrum of musical tastes right there) off the top spot this week, the glam indie rockers face a tough challenge in keeping UK favourite Dizzee Rascal off the summit next week.
David Gray managed an impressive number 5 with new album ‘Draw The Line’.
A shame, however, that The Big Pink didn’t manage to break into the top 40 with their debut album ‘A Brief History Of Love’.
Make sure you check back next week to see how the new entries featured here faired in the UK top 40 chart.
