Spinner posted the great news that Pavement will tourin the UK in 2010
“You there, Blighty-based Pavement fans. Step away from that Trip Advisor booking form. And hold off those calls to Big Apple-based chums enquiring as to whether their sofa is free next September.
After the news of the oft-mooted, finally-confirmed Pavement reunion no doubt led to mass outbreaks of fainting in the Pitchfork editorial offices, there has been the first confirmation the reunion tour won’t just be chasing its tail in Manhattan.
According to NME, guitarist Scott ‘Spiral Stairs’ Kannberg said the band would definitely be including British shows amidst their reformation tour.
“There definitely will be [UK gigs],” Kannberg said. “We’re looking at the summer time, but I’m not sure how much touring we’ll do.”
