Imagine the clever lyrics of Belle And Sebastian, the catchyness of The Wombats mixed with the freshness of current acts such as Two Door Cinema Club or KIDS label mates New Education and you have a good idea of what to expect from Silent Film Project.
The bands latest and debut single ‘Two Days’ has been out for a couple of months and is a great indie pop track which is beyond catchy. A great summer track with some clever lyrics which gives the band a much maturer sound than would be expected from their first single.
Silent Film Project hail from Sheffield and consist of Paul Musgrave, Tom Dakin, Jim Keown, Phill Vernon and Lisa O’Hara. Hopefully when the band release their debut album or EP it will follow in a similar vein to ‘Two Days’ and be a fantastic indie pop barrage.
