Dates for next years SXSW have been announced.
The festival, which takes place every year in Austin, Texas, will take place from March 12th to 21st with the music portion of the festival running from the 17th.
SXSW has been running for an amazing 22 years and is now a massive annual showcase for the best bands and artists on the planet.
No artist have been announced for 2010 but stay with Indiescreet and we will keep you updated on all the breaking news.
A new feature to the festival next year is the Panel Picker, explained by SXSW.com below:
“The Panel Picker interface is a two-step online system that allows the SXSW community to have a significant voice in programming for 2010. Step One encourages the community to submit proposals for programming at SXSW. The submission process runs from June 1 through July 10. Step Two allows the community to browse all of these ideas — and rate which of these proposals they think are the best fit for the March event. The voting process runs from August 10 through August 28.”
This feature gives the community more say in how SXSW is run and presented in 2010 and is a refreshing feature for such a huge event.
