The Big Pink Are Here To Stop The World

The Big Pink consist of Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell both from London. Their music can be most easily described as electro rock, although i prefer how they have used a large number of different images to describe themselves on their MySpace page.

Their style and sense of epicness with each track reminds me of The Flaming Lips and to a lesser degree Kasabian. I just hope they do not try to over produce tracks when it comes to making the album. Finding that fine line of perfect production has been acheived so far, lets just hope they can keep it that way.

The Big Pink

My favourite track from the band so far is Stop The World. An album is on the way later this year, produced by the guys themselves, mixed by Rich Costey and created in the Electric Lady Studio’s, NYC.

The Big Pink are scheduled to play Glastonbury, T In The Park and Bestival over the coming summer months.
