The Unfortunate Incident are an exciting new Sheffield band that play a unique indie/punk/country/folk hybrid and have made astounding progress over the past year.
The band first attracted my attention when Jenn McCambridge guest posted here on Indiescreet with a review of Tramlines. She gave them a great write up enticing me to check them out.
With the bands debut album ‘Build Your Own Ark’ out on August 28th I thought I’d take the time out to preview this band to Indiescreet’s readers.
The Unfortunate Incident consist of Russ on Guitar/lead vocals, brother Dan on bass/vocals and Tom on drums/vocals. The bands music reminds me of Frank Turner but with more of a kick.
Check out a couple of tracks from the band, both of which are likely to be featured on the album.
