Somewhat ashamedly Black Mountain are new on my radar. The Canadian 5-some offer up a combination of psych-rock and blues-rock in their latest track ‘The Hair Song’.
Taking a listen to some of their back-catalogue it seems these guys like to get heavy sometimes with some real metal influences evident on their 2008 album In The Future, ‘The Hair Song’ seems a more accessible track with a joyous feel to it.
‘The Hair Song’ is taken from the band’s upcoming album Wilderness Heart which is due out September 13th.
