After experimental rockers Yourcodenameis:milo decided upon a permanent hiatus back in 2007 guitarist Justin Lockey is back with a new sound in the form of White Belt Yellow Tag.

Made up of only two members, Lockey and Craig Pilbin enlist the help of former Cooper Temple Clause member Tom Bellamy to play drums for live gigs.

White Belt Yellow Tag’s latest release was the single ‘Tell Your Friends (It All Worked Out)’ which came out July 13th via Distiller Records. The single has echoes of some of Editors earlier tracks but with more of a noise-rock approach.

‘You’re Not Invincible’ was the bands first release earlier this year. This was the first track I heard, it immediately sparked a comparison with fellow Yorkshire rockers Dinosaur Pile Up, who I have spoke very highly of before.

A couple of great track which hopefully give an insight into White Belt Yellow Tag’s debut album, titled ‘Methods’, which will be released later in the year.
